Sindy Warren is a certified yoga and meditation teacher (E-RYT 200 and 500 hour certifications) and a lifelong student of the practice. Sindy began practicing yoga seriously in 2003 and it quickly became a staple in her life. She practiced, studied and learned for well over a decade before deciding to try her hand at teaching yoga. Because she was deeply rooted in her practice, teaching came quickly and naturally. She is passionate about sharing the beauty and wisdom of the practice with others.
Yoga brings so many gifts to its students: physical, energetic, mental, emotional, and spiritual. While it is often the physical practice that first entices students to the mat, it is typically a combination of benefits that keeps them coming back. That was certainly the case for Sindy. She first felt the physical benefits on her yoga mat, and quickly felt the practice of yoga bringing positivity, growth and joy to all areas of her life. Her meditation practice deepened her sense of connection to herself and the world around her. As a result, she is committed to empowering others to live their best lives.
Sindy obtained her advanced teacher training certification with Rolf Gates. She has also studied with Amy Ippoliti and Jason Crandell. In addition, she is a mindfulness meditation teacher, certified through The Mindfulness Center in Bethesda Maryland.
In addition to teaching yoga, Sindy has an employment law consulting business, Warren & Associates LLC. A Stanford Law School graduate, Sindy works with employers to create and maintain positive working environments and legally compliant employment practices.
When she’s not on her yoga mat, meditation cushion, or working, Sindy is likely hanging out with her family or friends, reading, running, or cooking up some good vegan eats.
